This Sussex Garden Design was a building site when we first saw it.
Historically this garden had a major problem with drainage. When we first viewed it builders had resolved these problems but left a very flat area covered with pea shingle. The client wanted a contemporary feel with paving, grass, and mediterranean style scree planting. There were also some issues around privacy and many mismatching boundary fences from the neighbours gardens.
The garden design used three interlocking circles for the lawn which created nicely shaped borders for the planting. The paving was finished with sawn mint sandstone giving a light and airy feel. The sides of the garden were finished with long lengths of slatted screen panels giving a stunning effect.
